Greene Family

I will be adding information on our descent from the Greene family of Rhode Island when time permits.  My understanding is that we are descended from Daniel Greene, whom I believe was the brother of Gen. Nathanael Greene, the Revolutionary War hero.  In the meantime, here are some photos that I took in Savannah, GA in May 2018 of the memorial to Gen. Greene in Johnson Square.

I was on a tour of the historic area of Savannah when, much to my surprise, I came across this memorial to Gen. Greene.
This plaque is located in the park where the monument to Gen. Greene was erected.
